I decided to rent a kayak for the Delaware River, so I didn’t have to paddle back upstream. I rented with Indian Head and they are very reasonably priced and have a bus to bring you back to where you park.
This was the my favorite kayak adventure yet. I loved going downstream and feeling the rushing water under me. I would suggest to know how to kayak before you attempt any river.
As you’re going down the river there are these beautiful gorges along the way. The whole trip isn’t all water raptors and you can take your time. There are some spots to pull off to the side and have lunch. Just enjoy the views and the quietness as your paddling downstream.
