Mt Tammany/Dunfield Creek, NJ

This hike is by the Delaware Water gap off of Route 80 West, NJ. It is a loop hike starting with red trail going to blue trail. The climb to the top is steep and at times very rocky. It is a more difficult hike and will take at least a few hours to complete. The red trail takes you to the top of Mt Tammany and then the blue trail down which I found to be a bit more rockier. The blue trail brings you to Dunfield creek and is great way to splash some water on you and cool off on a hot day. Once you made it to the creek you are now almost to the end of the hike and near your car. It is a popular hike and can get crowded at times especially on the weekends. You may also bring your dogs along.
