Monksville Reservoir, NJ

This is a very peaceful and easy kayaking reservoir. You rent kayaks at the South entrance or go to the North entrance and use your own. Many people also paddle board and fish here as well. When you paddle under a street bridge you can paddle over to an area where dead trees stand in the water. When I went over there were herrings and so much wild life surrounding me. Great way to spend a beautiful day leisurely kayaking.
