It can also go by the name, Stony Brook Falls or Stepping Stone Falls. The falls are fuller in April and after a decent rainfall. When there isn’t much flow the steps are more pronouced. The trail to the falls is an easy hike for all to love. It is also a great hike to bring your dog. There are other trails along the path for you to explore. The parking lot is Kittle Field. It’s 206 north until you enter Stokes, pass Rt. 636 and then turn right for the entrance. Drive down Coursen Rd and make a left and at the end would be the lot.
