Watkins Glen State Park, NY

Words can’t describe how magical this place is. It’s a gorge located in Finger Lakes NY and is absolutely stunning and a must see. It is a State Park so there is an entrance fee so make sure you have cash on you. I would suggest to go in the springtime because that’s when the falls will be at the peaks. I went in the fall when the foliage was just beginning to show which is also beautiful especially when driving over. However the water was low because it was a drier season at the time. On the website it says that it’s dog friendly but that’s only for the trails above the gorge. If you want to go unto the trail by the gorge then I would suggest to not bring your dog because they’re not allowed on these trails.
